ISTANBUL MARSHAL CLUB

Marshals are an important element in ensuring that motorsport organizations can be held safely.

They are responsible for timekeeping, the use of flags in track races, writing time cards in rallies, giving the start, finishing the race with the finish and, most importantly, ensuring the safety of the race from a sporting point of view. Marshals are not decision makers, they know the rules of the competition and report violations of the rules.

They are trained and appointed by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation, which is the only authority that regulates and conducts automobile sports in our country.

Marshals Club are the units that carry out the training, information, registration and registration procedures of the marshals in the province where they are affiliated; consisting of 5 board members including the chairman and affiliated marshals. The Istanbul Marshals Club is the largest marshal board in Turkey with 1400 marshals.
